Youth

Grace youth are an active bunch. Every Sunday morning after beginning in the sanctuary, we meet in “The Annex,” the small building just across the parking lot from the church. Meaghan (a college student) leads this time of discussion and fun for grades 7 to 12.

The first Sunday of the month from September to May, there is an evening service which is casual and interesting to youth and adults alike. The Inviting Circle combines video, song, sharing ideas and sometimes alternate locations from the sanctuary.

Fun activities take place monthly. Activities range from skating to movies, BBQ’s, carolling at the senior’s residence next door, an evening of LaserQuest, and many hours spent laughing, sharing and enjoying each other's company. A fall weekend retreat, usually held at Camp Maskepetoon, is another highlight.

Every year there is a senior high and junior high youth rally for our area Conference. The senior high rally is in the fall, and the junior high rally is in the spring.

Confirmation Class is held every 2 to 3 years for youth. After a attending classes and outings, and thinking about what they learn, the youth can choose to become “full-fledged” members and be welcomed into the congregation. It is an exciting day for all who attend. We have had many comments on how thrilled and proud members of the congregation are watching the young folks profess their faith that morning.
